In Typical Joe Morrissey Fashion, Delegate Brings Rifle Onto House Floor

The Richmond Times Dispatch reports that during today's floor session of the House of Delegates, Richmond Delegate Joe Morrissey brought a semi-auto rifle to use as a prop during the Morning Hour
speeches.

Morrissey is no stranger to controversey and theatrics having lost his law license in 2003 for beating another individual.  He previously served as Commonwealth Attorney for the City of Richmond.

Morrissey's bill banning modern sporting rifles and standard capacity magazines is on the docket of this afternoon's Militia Police and Public Safety Subcommittee #1.
