Overheard at the IACP Conference While Eric Holder Was Speaking

Attorney General Eric Holder spoke at he IACP Conference in Philadelphia yesterday. Apparently not all in the room were pleased to hear what he had to say. The Philadelphia Inquirer reports:

But despite his pledge of continued support for local law enforcement, not all at Monday's conference welcomed the attorney general's pledges. At the back of the hall, a handful of uniformed officers could be heard grumbling, "Three more years of this?"

The Inquirer noted that under Holder's tenure, the number of mass shootings have tripled from an average of 5 per year to 15 per year.
