NRA: The Fight of the Century

That's what the Washington Post reported was in a letter circulated by the NRA at the Shooting Hunting Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show in Las Vegas today.

It seems the media can't get the purpose of the SHOT Show right though.  In reporting that the show draws "60,000 gun enthusiasts" they give the impression that it is an open show.  SHOT show is only open to those engaged in the industry.  The average gun owner or sportsman cannot attend.

As to the NRA's assertion, I'd say they are right.
