The Thomas Jefferson Institute and Friends of the NRA have partnered for an old-fashioned Turkey Shoot and Fall Festival this October. Hosted by the Fredericksburg Rod and Gun Club in Fredericksburg, Virginia, the event will include a family-friendly turkey shoot, great barbecue by Carol’s Place, raffles, and great prizes for all age groups! While marksmen shoot their targets, there will also be craft demonstrations, inflatable bounces and carnival games for children, and music. You can even win a great firearm!
This is a day full of family-friendly festivities. Begin the 2012 hunting season with a bang and win a turkey for Thanksgiving dinner in the process!
