No surprise here; NRA-PVF has endorsed former U.S. Senator George Allen for the GOP nomination ahead of the June 12 primary. Allen has been a long time friend to gun owners and sportsmen, signing Virginia's "Shall Issue" concealed carry law in 1995 and voting for numerous pro-rights measures as a U.S. Senator. Should he win the primary as expected, he will face anti-rights former governor Tim Kaine. Kaine vetoed repeal of the restaurant ban as well as several other pro-rights bills. He also opposed this year's repeal of Virginia's gun rationing law.
All Virginia gun owners are encouraged to vote for George Allen in the June 12, 2012 GOP primary.
