McEachin Bill Targets All Private Firearm Sales

Richmond anti-rights State Senator Don McEachin has finally introduced what we all knew was the real target of the so-called "gun show loophole" bills - ending private sales of firearms. Senate Bill 379 would make it a Class 2 misdemeanor for a person who is not a licensed dealer to sell, rent, trade, or transfer a firearm to any other person who is not a licensed dealer, and make it a class 2 misdemeanor for a person who is not a licensed dealer to buy, rent, trade, or transfer a firearm from any other person who is not a licensed dealer.  So, the charade is finally over.
