This event was posted on the VSSA web site earlier but it bears repeating on this site. The 5th Annual Outdoor Festival to be held Saturday August 28 in Farmville, VA. It is sponsored by the Riverside Community Church.
The festival will take place at the Five County Fairgrounds off of Business 460 on the West side of Farmville. Festivities go from 10 am till 7 pm and include a kid's fishing pond, BB gun range, hunting simulator, five stand sporting clays shooting, turkey shoot, turkey calling contest and a 3-D archery contest. There will be many taxidermy displays, outdoor vendors, and a big buck contest. All events are free except for the vendors.
