McCain Picks Alaska Governor Palin as VP
While Obama went for an equally anti-gun VP choice in Joe Biden, McCain went for the strongly pro-gun Sarah Palin as his running mate. The pick stunned many observers who thought McCain might go with Romney or Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty. This is a "wow" pick that will surely energize conservatives and will likely reach out to disgruntled Hillary supporters who saw sexism in the way she was treated by the Obama forces.
