According to the March 24th Roanoke Times, Governor Tim Kaine has signed House Bill 2653, sponsored by VSSA friend Delegate Scott Lingamfelter. HB 2653 restricts schemes such as those used by undercover private investigators hired by New York City to entrap some Virginia gun dealers. This is one of the most important gun related pieces of legislation passed by the 2007 General Assembly and all Virginia gun owners should call the Governor, not usually a friend to gun owners, and thank him for signing the bill.
