The 2013 Cardinal Cup was held at the Bedford Rifle and Revolver Club on September 22, 2013. There were 38 shooters participating, firing 49 firearms. This year's State Champion is Travis Hayton, a Deputy Sheriff in Tazewell, County. Deputy Hayton dropped only 2 points over the entire course of fire, the least possible drop. That means that of the 186 rounds he fired, 185 of them were in the 8 circle out to 35 yeards. Congratulation to Deputy Travis Hayton on a great day of shooting for the 2013 Cardinal Cup Virginia Action Pistol Championship.
