New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg Weighs in On Repeal of Handgun Rationing

Our friends at the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association (NYSRPA) forwarded this article from the New York Daily News.  New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg is not very happy with Governor McDonnell's decision to sign House Bill 940, Delegate Scott Lingamfelter's bill repealing Virginia's one gun-a-month law.
Mayor Bloomberg blasted Virginia’s repeal of a 20-year-old law restricting handgun buyers to one pistol a month, saying Wednesday that it’s “only going to make matters worse” in New York.
Bloomberg told the assembled that Virginia is the "#1 source of out-of-state crime guns in New York, making sure to insert the gun ban lobby's favorite talking point, that there will be more "blood in the streets."

Someone needs to ask Bloomberg that if Virginia is the #1 source for crime guns with the 20 year-old law on the books, doesn't that mean the law never worked?
