There was a good crowd in Wakefield, VA, for the annual Shad Planking - an event that includes massive amounts of adult beverages, political talk, and boney fish. Governor McDonnell spoke at 4:00 and did a great job giving some very funny remarks. It was also a great time to catch up with some great friends from NRA-ILA State and Local as well as VSSA's former lobbyist who retired in 2010.
